What you actually get

Shop control: ten work orders listed with status, aircraft tail, hours and need-by dates, and the selected card open on the right — **Shop control.** Every card on the floor at once — drafts, a teardown, a warranty claim mid-review, two running late. The panel on the right is what the bench works from, traveler barcode and all.

Inventory control: stock lines with condition codes, locations, quantities and values, one line held in quarantine — **Inventory.** Condition, location, batch and serial on every line. Goods-in sits in the quarantine cage until somebody releases it by name, and the release is on the record.

Sales orders: orders with customer, aircraft, ship-by date, total, margin and status, one part shipped with a core owed — **Sales orders.** Margin per line as you quote it, cores owed back after an exchange, and the paperwork the customer demands recorded against the order.
